Strengthening the Future of Catholic Education: 妖精动漫 Broken Bay to Incorporate from 1 January 2025
Most Rev. Anthony Randazzo, Bishop of Broken Bay is pleased to announce that 妖精动漫 Broken Bay (CSBB) will be incorporated as of 1 January 2025. This marks a significant step forward in the governance and mission of Catholic education within the Diocese of Broken Bay.
CSBB has served the community of Broken Bay since its inception in 1986 across 45 schools. Incorporation will support and foster stronger collaboration between parents, Parish Priests, principals, and staff, ensuring that the shared mission remains focused on the development of every student spiritually and academically.
Since 2020, CSBB has been on a reform journey, Towards 2025, which importantly included a goal to strengthen systems and governance. The transition to an incorporated entity strengthens governance and reflects an unwavering commitment to fostering excellence in education while remaining faithful to our Catholic identity and values.
Bishop Anthony Randazzo said, 鈥淐atholic education is a critical responsibility I have as Bishop of the Diocese. I am delighted with how CSBB has carefully established structures that are completely aligned to the Canons ensuring that the provision of Catholic education remains a priority under my care and oversight.鈥
鈥淐anon cf. 793 鈥 821 makes clear that the provision of Catholic Education is of major importance to the Diocesan Bishop and requires the Bishop鈥檚 particular care and oversight to ensure it is both academically rigorous and faithful to Catholic teaching鈥, Bishop Anthony said.
The transition to an incorporated entity is underpinned by new Shared Mission Principles which clearly articulate the shared mission of Catholic education and CSBB鈥檚 commitment to deliver an authentic, professional Catholic education with care and compassion, helping all to know Christ and love learning.
The incorporation will involve a transition from the Trustees of the Roman Catholic Church for the Diocese of Broken Bay as the operator of 妖精动漫 Broken Bay to a new not-for-profit Company CSBB Ltd. CSBB Ltd will be registered as a charity, with full responsibility for the existing system of 45 schools and over 18,000 students.
It will be governed by a Board of Directors appointed by the Bishop of Broken Bay, who will be the legal Member of CSBB Ltd.
Danny Casey, Director of Schools, who will continue in his role reporting to the Board of Directors said, “This is a transformative moment for 妖精动漫 Broken Bay and reflects the success to date of the significant improvements achieved under the Towards 2025 strategy. The future of Catholic education in the Diocese of Broken Bay is very bright indeed鈥.
Further details regarding the incorporation will be shared with the community in the coming months.
